Grapetaste : Terms and Conditions

Below is a summary of the main points covered in our terms and conditions, a full copy is provided at the time of booking.

When you book an event with Grapetaste you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.

PAYMENT

50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due and must be received a minimum of 10 working days prior to the event date. Any additional charges incurred are payable to us within 14 days of the event. We reserve the right to charge interest at 2.5% above the base rate of Bank of England on all outstanding balances from the date due until the date of receipt of payment in full

CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING BY YOU

If you cancel the Booking, the following charges will apply (unless an alternative arrangement is made by prior agreement and stated on the Event Booking Form/Contract:

It may be necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control to change or cancel your Booking.

In this case, we will notify you of such occurrence and use our reasonable endeavours to offer alternative arrangements of a substantially similar standard.

You can choose to accept the alternative arrangements, or cancel your Booking and if you cancel we will refund all monies paid by you to us in respect of the Event.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

It is your responsibility to ensure that your attendees, their guests/invitees, your staff are over 18 years of age in line with legal requirements, and also comply with the venue's reasonable instructions in the event of an emergency. Any damage howsoever caused to the Venue and its contents, or damage caused to any hired items, by bringing onto its premises or the removal from its premises of any item of equipment, is your responsibility. Any cost to make good any damage is payable by you. The conduct of your staff, attendees, their guests/invitees at or during the Event or prior to your or their departure from the Venue is also your responsibility, and you are liable for any loss, costs or expenses incurred by us or the venue as a result of any act or omission of such person.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We accept no responsibility whatsoever in respect of theft, damage, accident, death, or loss of any kind, howsoever caused to you, your attendees/staff, their guests/invitees and your/their property, possessions and accept no liability arising in respect of our provision of the venue, or any liability whatsoever in respect of any third party supplier independently arranged by yourselves, or arranged and/or recommended by us.

DATA PROTECTION

We may from time to time access any information you provide for marketing purposes, such as sending you information and offers. If you do not wish to receive these communications please notify us when confirming your provisional booking, or write to us.

GENERAL

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of these terms and conditions will not be affected but will remain valid and enforceable. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. If the Organiser is prevented from carrying out its obligation hereunder in circumstances beyond its reasonable control including and not limited to Government intervention, strikes, labour disputes, accidents, natural disasters or war, then the Organiser's liability hereunder shall be limited to the return of monies already paid by the Client to the Organiser in respect of the Event. The Organiser retains exclusive Intellectual Property rights over its event formats, and copyright over its material.
